The Trustees are nominated and appointed by the National Coordinating Council based on the following criteria:

• National representation


• Ecumenical position of trustees who should be Christian/Muslim or belong to any other religion, and be


• Male and female representatives

The Trustees are to assist DELES in whatever is necessary for it to become and function as a legal body. They are to stand by and support the programme where and when necessary to achieve its set goal and objectives. The members are:
